Mary M. Zaiglin

Mary Margaret Zaiglin, 97, of Masontown, PA, passed away July 5, 2021 at LaFayette Manor, Uniontown, PA.

She was born in York Run, PA on November 8, 1923, the daughter of the late Alex and Katherine (Legnasky) Arendash.

Mary was a member of All Saints R.C. Church now St. Francis of Assisi, Masontown, PA and The Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was a graduate of German Township High School Class of 43.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frank “Jiggs” Zaiglin and brothers: Bernard, Anthony, Steve, Frank, Michael, Joseph and Alex and sister Helen.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Jim) Nagg of Grindstone, PA; brother: Luke Arendash and wife Marion of Charlotte, MI and several nieces and nephews.

The family thanks the staff at Amedisys Hospice, Redstone Hospice and LaFayette Manor for their excellent care and kindness to Mary.

Family and friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, PA on Friday, July 9 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Saturday until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi, Masontown, Pa. with Fr. Marlon Pates as Celebrant.

Parish Rosary Friday afternoon.

Interment at St. Agnes’ Cemetery, Masontown, PA.
