Richard L. Hagner

Richard Lyle Hagner, 66, of Leckrone, PA, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at WVU Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown,

He was born in Uniontown, PA on December 2, 1955, the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Wilson) Hagner.

Before retiring he was employed as a diesel mechanic for M&Y Service, a coal stripping company.

He was predeceased by his parents and sons; Richard Hagner and Bobby Mackey; brothers; Albert, James, Lester and Charles and sister Winnona Strosnider. “Dick” was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years Thelma Louise (Angelo) Hagner; children: Michael Hagner and Fiancee Melissa King, Rita (Jeffrey) Yanowsky, Crystal Hagner, Rodney (Karey David) Hagner, Tina (Franklin, Sr.) Bankhead and Marion Rutan; 36 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren whom he loved.

Family and friends will be received in the Smithfield Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 112 N. Main St., Smithfield, PA on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 12 until 1:00 p.m. the hour of service at the Church with Reverend Rose Bircher officiating.

Interment in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, PA.
