JAMES “JIM” ALBERT WYLAND

James “Jim” Albert Wyland, 59, of Masontown, PA passed away February 17, 2024 at home with his family at his side.

He was born in Uniontown, PA on August 15, 1964, the son of the late Donald M. and Sophia (Gilmore) Wyland.

Jim attended Albert Gallatin High School and was a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed watching the Steelers and
fishing with friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: Ronald David Wyland and Donald M. Wyland, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Deborah K. (Gerthung) Wyland, step son Jamie Gerthung of Youngstown, OH.;
sisters: Edith Riggen of Masontown, PA, Phyllis Wyland of McClellandtown, PA., Rebecca “Becky” Hanlan of Smithfield,
PA and brother George Wyland of Carmichaels, PA.

Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice; especially Brian Burkholder and Vickie Wesolosky for the excellent care given to Jim.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR.
FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, PA. Interment will follow in Greendale Cemetery, Masontown, PA.
