KENNETH HERBERT WHYEL, Sr.

Kenneth Herbert Whyel, Sr., 57, of Fairbank, PA., passed away Monday, May 19th, 2025 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Uniontown, PA on March 31, 1968, the son of the late Harold and Betty Lou (Skidmore) Whyel. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by grandsons: Kolten, Barrett and Hunter; sisters: Donna Sapp and Carol Goddard; brother Paul Whyel; brother-in-law Frank Corob; mother-in-law and father-in-law Joe and Judith Hagner; aunt Wanda Adams and niece Amanda Gibson.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Shirl Ann (Leppard) Whyel; sons: Kenneth H. Whyel and wife Kylie, Brett M, Whyel and wife Emily Guthrie, sisters: Paulette Corob (who was his best friend and caregiver), Wanda Shank and Delpha Hughes brothers Harold Whyel and Charles Whyel, grandson Braxton (who was the love of his life), granddaughter Brooklynn and several nieces and nephews and his best friend John Rittico.

Kenneth enjoyed being a fire fighter for the Point Marion VFD and EMT for many years and was an Apostolic Minister.

A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to The John S. Maykuth Jr. Funeral Home, Masontown, PA.
