Charles E. Hotsinpiller

Charles E. Hotsinpiller, 89, of Masontown, PA., passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Continental #2, PA on June 23, 1934, the son of the late Russell and Flora (Cooker) Hotsinpiller.

Charles graduated in 1952 from Georges High School and was employed as a coal miner at Buckeye – Nemacolin Mine before retiring. He was a member of the Masontown Fish and Game Club and the Pals Club. He enjoyed fishing and playing with the grand kids.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters; Mary Rankin and Linda Rock and his brothers; Russell and James Hotsinpiller.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Carrie Louise Fritzman Hotsinpiller; daughters; Connie ((Thomas) Miske, Brenda (Dan) Ptak , Debbie Jordan and Robin (John) Corcoran; grandchildren: Angela, Crystal, Julie, John, Amy, Amanda and Scott; great grandchildren: A.J.., Brady, Cameron, Paige, Kaylee, Brea, Colton, McKenna, Logan, Tristan, Brielle and Anderson; great great grandchildren: Brynn Leigh and Kensley and brothers: Gary, John and Paul Hotsinpiller.

Memorial Service will be held at the Masontown Brethren Church on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 10 to 11 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Benji Zylka officiating. Peace meal will follow in the church social hall following the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, PA.
