Abe Richard Burnsworth, Sr., 75, of Masontown, PA passed away Monday, March 16, 2026 at his home.

He was born in Uniontown, PA on March 27, 1950, the son of the late Brack and Anna (Shultz) Burnsworth. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers: Phil, Brack, Jr., Emerson and Gene Burnsworth; sisters: Louise Bogol, Betty Poole and Mary Martinko.

Abe was a graduate of German Township High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed as a carpenter at Barnes Builder.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Bonny (Uhl) Burnsworth; daughter Amy Burnsworth Blair of Pt. Marion, PA,; son Abe Richard Burnsworth, Jr. and spouse Daniel Drane of Butler, PA.,sister(s): Connie Lou Smith of North Carolina and Beatrice Mitchell of Uniontown, PA., brother Alfred Burnsworth of Georgia, grandchildren; Hunter Blair, Dustin Blair and Lacey Blair and many nephews and nieces.

According to Abe’s wishes there will be no viewing or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the John S. Maykuth Jr Funeral Home, Masontown, PA.
