CECIL EUGENE GLADDEN

Cecil Eugene Gladden, 69, of Martin, PA. passed away March 7, 2025 at his home.

He was born in Martinsburg, WVA on October 15, 1955, the son of the late William and Veronica (Helpter) Gladden.

Cecil was a Disabled Veteran who served as a Sgt. in the US Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football.

He was predeceased by his wife, Loretta A. (Hopwood) Gladden , grandson Jacob Clark and several brothers and sisters.

Cecil is survived by his son Gary Brady and wife Kendra; daughters: Mary B. Reckart and husband Frank; Samantha Clark and husband Beau; 7 grandchildren: Steven Brady, Justin Brady, Aurora Clark, Toni Zartman, Gary Brady, Teri Mitchell, Robin Reckart and many great grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.

Family and friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, Masontown, Pa., on Monday, March 17, 2025 from 2 to 6 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 until 10 a.m. the hour of Service in the Funeral Home Chapel. Military Honors will be accorded by Masontown VFW Post 4584 and American Legion Post 423.

Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, PA.
