DOLORES JEAN SANTELLA

Dolores Jean Santella, 96, of Masontown, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 peacefully at home.

She was born in Masontown, PA. on February 15, 1929, the daughter of the late John and Lucy (Cassano) Cerullo.

She was predeceased by her husband William D. “Bill” Santella and brothers Richard Cerullo and Robert Cerullo, and sister Carol Cerullo DelGrosso. Dolores was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Lisa Santella of Masontown, PA. and her son Dennis W. Santella and wife Michele of Masontown, PA. Loving grandchildren: Craig and wife Andrea Santella of Coraopolis, PA., Alex and wife Chelsee Santella of Washington, PA. precious great-grandsons: Geno and William Santella, several nieces and nephews, and brother-in-law John DelGrosso of Masontown, PA.

Dolores was a member of Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Masontown, PA. She enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, and flower gardening.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Breast Cancer, Leukemia Societies and St. Francis of Assisi Church.

The family sends special thanks to Amedisys Hospice Staff who took care of Dolores.

Family and friends will be received in the John S. Maykuth Jr. Funeral Home, Tuesday, February 3rd, from 2-7 p.m. and Wednesday February 4th, from 10-11 a.m. the hour of service in the funeral home chapel with Father Anthony Klimko officiating.

Interment at St. Agnes Cemetery .
