Donald Russell Hall, age 81, passed away peacefully on August 19th 2025. Donald was a football coach in the late 70s for LH Kennedy Rams, working night shifts as a coal miner to be able to coach. He retired as a bus driver for Albert Gallatin where he worked for over three decades. He was an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan, especially the Steelers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing, one is where he earned the nickname Ducky, when an unfortunate duck met a golf ball. He loved his wife, great grandchildren, grandchildren, and two daughters fiercely and would move the world for them if he could. “Doodger” loved spending time with his extended Ohio family. Donald is predeceased by his wife of 60 years Shirley Mae Hall, sister Candy Lehman and two great grandchildren Kolton and Barette. He is survived by his sister Penny (John) Hammond, daughters Michelle and Leslie Hall, Grandchildren Bethany (Nate) Hickman, Krysten (Chad) Glover, Emily (Brett) Guthrie, Donald Hall-Ayres, and Patrick McCabe, and his Great-Grandchildren Garrison, Braxton, Kymber, Lilliana, Kasey, Sawyer, Brooklynn, and Kennedy. Friends and family are welcome to the viewing on Friday August 22nd from 2-8 pm and Saturday, August 23rd from 9 until 10 the hour of service at John S. Maykuth, Jr. Funeral Home, Masontown, PA
