Kristy Perry, 58, of Ronco, PA., passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown , PA..

She was born in Uniontown, PA on December 26, 1965, the daughter of the late Carl L. and Nancy J. (Springer) Golden.

Kristy graduated from Laurel Highlands High School, Class of 1985. Before retiring she was employed as a Paraeducator in the Waynesburg School District for intermediate unit 1.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Roy Perry, daughter Mallary Perry, son James Perry;
two grandchildren Julie and Jordi Powell whom she loved and cherished very much; sister Holly Dennis and husband Jeff, nephew Joe Julian who provided much help in her last days, her beloved dog Penelope and several beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her grandmother Velma Springer of Uniontown, Pa, brother Carl (Butch) Golden of Uniontown, Pa, and mother-in-law Thelma (Fike) Perry of Ronco, Pa.

Kristy was a social member of the Masontown VFW. She cherished her time with her granddaughters, loved cooking and baking, spending her summers on the riverside in her camper and on the boat. She recently relished the thrill of the open road with her Challenger SCAT Pak that she enjoyed. Kristy was the type of woman who preferred a black coffee with the Herald Standard before anyone dared to speak to her in the morning. She was known for her kindness, generosity, warm spirit and always ready to lend a helping hand. She will be deeply missed by everyone who loved her.

Family and friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, PA on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 2 until 6 p.m. the hour of Service in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Aaron Douthitt officiating.
