MARK ALAN ANSELL

Mark Alan Ansell, 66, of Masontown, PA passed away Monday, June 3, 2024 at WVU Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, PA.

He was born in Waynesburg, PA. on June 30, 1957, the son of the late James D. and Justine (Allen) Ansell Brown.

Mark was a graduate of German Township High School. He enjoyed watching the Steelers, Penguins and stock car racing; playing bingo and riding his bike around town.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his stepfather Darwin Brown.

Left to cherish his memory are his brother, James D. Ansell Jr. of Ronco, PA; sister, Sharan Allen and niece, Kimberely Kozy both of Masontown, PA , nephew Kenneth J. Herring and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends will be received at the John S. Maykuth Jr. Funeral Home, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, PA on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 2 – 8 p.m. and Thursday until 10 a.m. the hour of service in the Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Byers officiating. Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, PA.
