STANLEY JOHN HARAGOS

Stanley John Haragos, 70, of Masontown, PA, passed away May 28, 2025 at home with his family by his side.

He was born in Uniontown, PA on May 2, 1955, the son of the late Stanley and Emma Jean (Martinosky) Haragos. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Steven, infant sister Sandy and granddaughter Kendall Clark.

Stanley graduated in 1973 from Laurel Highlands High School and before retiring he was employed at Rockwell International as a CNC Machinist and was a member of United Steel Workers. He enjoyed wood crafting, stripping copper, playing the Lottery and spending time with his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janet (Trackemas) Haragos; daughter, Cassandra Clark and husband Thomas; sons: Bryan Haragos and Kristopher Haragos and wife Jessica; four grandchildren: Benny, Abby, Evan and Eli and his brother Robert “Bobby” Haragos.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for their care and kindness, especially nurse Melissa.

Family and friends will be received at the John S. Maykuth Jr. Funeral Home, Masontown, PA on Tuesday, June 3rd from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, June 4th, from 9-10 a.m. the hour of service in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Asa Walters officiating. Interment follows in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
