Stanley Leonard Lavitsky, age 85, of Uniontown, PA,, passed away July 3, 2025 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Brownsville, PA. on January 17, 1940, the son of the late Stanley and Kathrine (Jaworski) Lavitsky.

Stanley graduated from McKeesport High School and was employed as truck driver for D&M and Platts Trucking.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Dolline Bryner Lavitsky, his brother Bernard Lavitsky and sister-in-law Sylvia Chambers Lavitsky.

Left to cherish his memory are his son Robert Lavitsky and wife Shirley, daughter Cindy Kay Lavitsky; sister Patty Easter and fourteen grandchildren: Samantha, Cheyenne, Kalina, Mashawn, Max, James, Sharon, Niyobie, Aayan, Josh, Hannah, JoKayla, Jenna, Jermey; eleven great grand children: Havana, Amelia, Levi, Bray-Lyn, Christian, Savannah. Leo, Stormie. Myah, Noah, Issac. and loving nieces, Laurie and Denaya; nephew BJ and cousins.

Family and friends will be received in the John S. Maykuth Jr. Funeral Home, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, PA on Tuesday, July 8th from 4 -8 p.m. and Wednesday July 9th from 8:30 until 9:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Church, Uniontown, PA.

Interment follows in Irwin Cemetery, Farmington, PA
