Wayne Douglas Kennison, Jr., 46, of Masontown, PA, passed away May 6, 2022 at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

He was born in Uniontown, PA on October 24, 1975, the son of Wayne Douglas Kennison, Sr. and the late Susan (Bartko) Kennison.

Wayne graduated from Tri Valley High School Class of l994 and attended Indiana University.
He was employed as a Corrections Officer at SCI Fayette. He loved to hunt, fish, play soft ball and dart ball.

He was predeceased by his mother, Susan and his brother Jeremy Kennison.

Left to cherish his memory are his father Wayne D. Kennison, Sr.; wife, Judy Lawrence; sons, Charles Lawrence and wife Amanda of Greensboro, Israel Lawrence and wife Tori of Masontown; grandchildren: Kyle Lawrence and Briella Lawrence; sister Beth Ann Hull and husband Daniel, and children Daniel and Kayla of Farmington; grandmother Madonna Bartko, of Fairchance..

Family and friends will be received in the JOHN S MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, PA on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday until 10 a.m. the hour of service in the funeral home chapel Dr. Mac Reed officiating.

Interment follows at Mountain View Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
