Douglas S. Janosik, 46, of Smithfield, PA. passed October 24, 2026 at Laurel Ridge Nursing Home, Uniontown, PA.
He was born in Pittsburgh, PA , on June 9, 1980, the son of Ronald Steven and Barbara Ann (Gasparatz) Janosik. Douglas was predeceased by his grandparents: Anna Marie and
Joseph Janosik and Martin Gasparatz.
Douglas was disabled and a graduate of Albert Gallatin High School. He loved watching the Weather Channel, The Wheel of Fortune and playing video games. His favorite character was Spider Man.
He was a member of Jacob’s Lutheran Church, Masontown, PA..
In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister Beth Anne Marie Janosik and fiance Kirk Faris, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousin’s, Nieces and Nephews, and his special caretaker Sherry Hoone and the employees at Laurel Ridge Nursing Home.
No viewing, private interment. Arrangements have been entrusted to John S. Maykuth, Jr. Funeral Home.
