FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, PA on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. the hour of service in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jason Lamer officiating. Military Rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 423 and VFW Post 4584. Private interment.

EUGENE GARFIELD KELLEY
“GENE”

Eugene Garfield “Gene” Kelley, of Smithfield, formerly of McClellandtown, PA, passed away August 22, 2019, at West Virginia University Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

He was born in Uniontown, PA on December 27, 1954, the son of the late Edwin and Ann (Myers) Kelley.

Gene served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and before retiring he was employed as a Truck Driver for Advance Disposal.

He was a member of the Fairchance Rod and Gun Club and last year shot his first black bear in Fayette County.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Sandra and twin granddaughters: Kyla and Dennell.

Surviving are his wife Annetta May (Halbrook) Kelley; daughters: Amanda Chidester and Beth Kelley; grandchildren: Jessica, Cloey, Emmy, Ava, Brandon and Bradley; great grandchildren: Kiarah, Kiree and Kaveyon; brother Mark (Donna) Kelley and his furry friends: Jose and Millie.
