John E. Richnafsky, 71, of McClellandtown, passed away April 13, 2023 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Jefferson Hills, PA.

He was born in Uniontown, PA on March 3, 1952, the son of Alice (Bobincheck) Richnafsky and the late John Richnafsky.

John was a graduate of German High School and received his BS in Education from California College.

For many years he has been broadcasting on WMBS Radio the Polish Melodies Show. He was a member of the Polish Club, Polish Heritage Club of Uniontown. Northern Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite of Uniontown and Pittsburgh, Usher and Eucharist Minister at St. Joseph R.C. Church, Uniontown and a member of UMWA.

He was predeceased by his father John Richnafsky and sister-in-law Mary Kay Richnafsky.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Lynn Marie Richnafsky; brother Tom Richnafsky; nephew Thomas M. Richnafsky and wife Samantha and his fur baby Peggy Sue.

Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Ave., Masontown, Pa., on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Joseph R.C. Church, Uniontown, PA.

Interment at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
