JOZEF BANIOWSKI

Jozef Baniowski, 78, of Masontown, PA passed away August 18, 2026 at his home.

He was born in West Germany, on March 4, 1948, the son of the late Wojeiech and Justina Baniowski.

Before retiring he was employed as a Laborer at Owens Illinois and PennDot. Jozef enjoyed going to the Casino, watching the Boston Red Socks and Los Angles Rams and he really enjoyed mowing the lawn.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Dolores (Hlatky) Baniowski.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons: Jerry Baniowski and girlfriend Terri Lipscomb and Joseph Baniowski, Jr. of Masontown, PA, brothers: Johnny Baniowski and and Henrik Baniowski both of New Jersey.

Family and friends will be received in the John S. Maykuth Funeral Home, 7 River Ave, Masontown, PA on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm the hour of Service in the Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fairchance, PA.
