PEARL J. HOBSON

Pearl J. Hobson, 100, of Wiscasset, Maine, passed away April 18, 2026. She was born on August 4, 1925 in Rocks Works, Fayette County, PA, the daughter of the late John and Bertha (Lewis) Piper. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Hobson and her sister Viola. Surviving are her son John E. Hobson, Jr. of Maine and her daughter Brenda Kohrman and husband Eugene of South Carolina, sisters: Winona Canter and Connie Whyles and brothers: Earl Piper, Franklin Piper and Reginal Piper and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.A Memorial Service will be held on June 23, 2026 at 1 p.m. at John S. Maykuth Jr. Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Byers officiating. Burial follows in Greendale Cemetery, Masontown, PA.Arrangements are under the direction of the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, PA.
