Rose Savage Chepes, 85, of Mansfield, Ohio formerly of Masontown, PA passed away March 1, 2023, at University Hospital, Ashland, Ohio.
She was born in McClellandtown, PA on January 4, 1938, the daughter of the late Mike and Minnie (Dokish) Savage.
Rose was predeceased by her parents; her husband Donald Chepes; daughters: Melaine Chepes Garner and Apryl James; grandson Gary Garner; brothers: John, Metro, Paul, George and Samuel Savage; sisters: Helen Savage and Joan Simcheck.
She is survived by grandchildren: Steven Symsick, Gregory Garner, Stefanie Bristow, Caitlyn James, great grandchildren: Lillian Symsick, Leah Symsick, Lyla Bristow, Tyler Symsick, Zane James and Zion James; sister Dorothy McCloy of Stockdale, PA; brothers: Peter Savage and wife Darlene of Panama, NY and Joseph Savage and wife Kathryn of Strongsviille, OH
Viewing and Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m., the hour of service at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Carmichaels, PA with Father Sasa Nedic officiating.
Interment at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church Cemetery, Carmichaels, PA.
