Sandra Sue Hardesty, 55, of Morgantown, West Virginia, passed away February 7, 2024 at Mon General Hospital.

She was born in Weirton, WV on April 29, 1968, the daughter of the late Alton and Lois (Tennant) John.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers Thomas and Johnny John; sister Kathy Wayt and granddaughter Shelby Barnhart.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Marc Hardesty, daughters: Angela Rutan of North Braddock, PA and Ashley Rutan of Morgantown, WV; sons: Andy Rutan of Waynesburg, PA and Michael Rutan of Masontown, PA; grandchildren: Page, Brianna, Mikey, Jr., Braiden, Grayson, Dalton, Ayden, Precious and Mabel; sisters: Mary Brown, Kimmy Brletich, Kayda Lipscomb, Barb Yaworski and brothers: Danny John and David John.

Family and friends will be received at the John S. Maykuth Jr. Funeral Home, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, PA on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 12-3 p.m. the hour of service in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rose Bircher officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mount Morris, PA.
