Theresa A. Cassidy, 76, of Uniontown, PA passed away September 19, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Masontown, PA. on October 30, 1946, the daughter of the late John Thomas and Clara (O’Rourke) Cassidy.

Theresa graduated from All Saints High School, Class of 1964, and was a graduate of Laurel Business Institute of Uniontown. For many years she worked in New Jersey as a secretary before coming back to Pennsylvania. Here she worked for the Pennsylvania State Prison until her retirement. She loved going to the casinos, was an avid bowler and reader and a lifetime member of Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Masontown, PA where she served as a lecture.

Theresa is survived by her brother Paul Cassidy and wife Bonnie of Masontown, PA; sisters: Mary Donato of Cedarville, NJ; Peggy Colvard of Uniontown, PA; sister-in-laws: Doris Cassidy, Olga Cassidy, Sara Cassidy and Dottie Cassidy of New Jersey and Mary Joyce Cassidy of West Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews and many cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, seven brothers: Edward, John, Patrick, George, Robert and his wife Betty, Joseph and Jerome Cassidy; four sisters: Claire Caccamo, Regina Kristovich of New Jersey, Kathy Cassidy and Martha Sue Cassidy and brother-in-laws: Jim Colvard and Anthony Donato; aunts Elizabeth O’Rourke of Cumberland MD and Betty Reagan of Buffington, PA.

The family will greet visitors at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Masontown, PA on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 9 until 10 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial with Father Anthony Cortado as Celebrant. Private interment in St. Agnes Cemetery, Masontown, PA.
